Following the launch of an SME Manifesto on ‘Driving Growth for European Innovators’ in June, a group of CEOs from some of Europe’s most innovative technology SMEs have written to President Juncker to request action on its contents.

Among the supporting CEOs – to cite only a few – are the inventors (or co-inventors) of ground-breaking technologies for high-power Analog Digital Hybrid sound, Near Field Communication, Wi-Li, or light-based Wi-Fi, Vitirover, AI-powered vineyards robots, GSM internal antennas.

The letter, received by President Juncker’s cabinet was reflected in his State of the European Union address on 13 September, as part of the EU Industrial Policy Strategy calling for specific initiatives in three areas: Fair access to justice for European SMEs; Better access to Finance for innovative companies; and innovation incentives under the Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base (CCCTB).
